Château de Grézan Chardonnay White Wine 2019

It's always wine o'clock! The viticultural history of the Cros Pujol began five generations ago, in 1877, on a very parcel of carignan between in the French Languedoc region. It was worked with a donkey and a horse, the harvests were vinified at the back of the family home. Thirty years ago, the family became head of the Château Grézan and the surrounding vineyards. Since then, Cros Pujol expresses the very essence of Faugères wines and Languedoc appellations with respect for ancestral traditions and open-mindedness to modernity. Wonderful wines in beautiful bottles: a match made in heaven! This charming chardonnay opens with a nose that combines lively and somehow sour citrus with prominent pineapple. Identical contrasts in the mouth, where fresh fruit lives in perfect harmony with sweet syrup and voluptuous vanilla. Superb seafood sidekick, lovely with veal or cheese at the end of the meal.
