Veuve Clicquot Iconic Arrow - Liège
Since its foundation in 1772, Veuve Clicquot has always remained true to its motto: “Only one quality, the finest.” Madame Clicquot, the audaciously innovative woman known as La Grande Dame of Champagne, took the reins of the House in 1805, and became one of the first businesswomen of modern times. Her passion, vision, and innate sense of French art de vivre live on today in the House that bears her name. Veuve Clicquot spreads delight through its remarkable champagne range, including the iconic Yellow Label and La Grande Dame.
An instant classic since its creation in 2016, the Veuve Clicquot Arrow continues to capture hearts and imaginations everywhere.
Clicquot Arrow is a metallic Clicquot yellow case in the shape of an arrow, reinterpreting road signs in a modern way, and containing a bottle of its emblematic vintage, Brut Carte Jaune. Beneath your chosen destination is an amusing nod to the language of road signs: it shows the number of kilometres your special place is in relation to Reims, in France, the cellars of the House of Veuve Clicquot.
Yellow Label is the signature of Veuve Clicquot’s quality and style, recreated every year thanks to our priceless collection of reserve wines. Its brilliant yellow label reflects the champagne’s bright personality and impeccable winemaking credentials.
He blends 30-45% reserve wines with grapes from as many as 50 to 60 different crus. The Pinot Noir predominance (50-55%) provides the structure that is so typically Veuve Clicquot, while Chardonnay (28-33%) adds the elegance and finesse essential in a perfectly balanced wine, and a touch of Meunier (15-20%) rounds out the blend.
The long aging in our Crayères (3 years minimum for Yellow Label) gives silkiness to the Champagne.
