The extraordinary design by Mario Bellini is captivating and combines functional design, a solid structure and premium materials, including gold, platinum and titanium, all beautifully finished using PVD coating. The combination gives the series an unmistakable look and the guarantee of the feeling of holding a luxury writing instrument. The pen has a 14 karat gold nib and uses ink cartridges or a converter. The fountain pen uses the Lamy T10 ink cartridges.
Lamy is considered a pioneer in writing instruments worldwide. The family-owned company, founded in 1930, embraced the Bauhaus movement (form follows function) in 1966 when Dr. Manfred Lamy became Lamy's director. This design ethos is still key to the current popularity of Lamy pens.
