Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Itération No. 26 is the ultimate expression of Champagne craftsmanship, created by Laurent-Perrier with a clear ambition: to recreate the perfect year through blending rather than relying on a single vintage. This prestige cuvée is composed of 58% Chardonnay and 42% Pinot Noir, selected exclusively from up to 11 Grand Cru villages among the 319 Crus of the Champagne region. It is built around three exceptional harvests, 2012 as the core, complemented by the structure of 2008 and the ripe, generous character of 2007, resulting in a Champagne of remarkable energy, depth, and harmony.

Aged for 10 years on the lees, Grand Siècle No. 26 develops exceptional finesse, complexity, and texture. The extended maturation delivers a highly refined mousse, subtle brioche notes, and a precise balance between vibrant freshness, ripe fruit, and mineral tension. Disgorged in 2023 with a dosage of 7 g/L, it achieves both precision and elegance while preserving its remarkable aging potential.

In the glass, it shows a brilliant golden color with luminous clarity. The nose is complex and layered, unfolding aromas of peach, candied pear, acacia honey, clementine, and delicate toasted brioche, followed by evolving notes of ginger, nutmeg, tarte tatin, and a subtle saline nuance. On the palate it is silky, medium- to full-bodied and highly precise, with a perfectly integrated mousse and a core of ripe yet fresh fruit supported by vibrant acidity. The finish is long, elegant, and lightly saline, leaving a refined impression that invites another sip.
