This 100% Graciano wine comes from the high-altitude El Pozo vineyard (over 650 meters) in Quel, known for its unique, poor sandy soils. It displays an intense cherry-red color. The nose is complex with an abundance of ripe dark fruit (red plums, black currants, black cherries), intricately woven with hints of fine wood (pepper, tobacco, and licorice). The palate is powerful and long, with substantial body and excellent ripe tannins complemented by refined acidity.

This wine is notably crafted without added sulfites, a testament to meticulous vineyard health and precise winemaking, including cold maceration, tumultuous fermentation, and eight months aging in new French and American barrels without racking. With an alcohol content of 13.50%, it's an ideal partner for stews, meat, and wild game dishes.
