Weltevree Forestry Table

The Forestry Table is a dinner table, designed by Floris van Schoonderbeek, made of Douglas fir wood originating from Dutch forests. The wood is assembled with steel bow-tie wood joints. This Forestry table moves between a sturdy picnic table and a sophisticated dinner table; a nice balance that fits both indoors and outdoors.

This softwood comes from the Dutch forests of Staats Bosbeheer. Douglass wood is ideal for outdoor use and under the influence of weather gets a beautiful greyish appearance. Do you prefer to keep the current orange glow? This is possible by treating the design with linseed oil, wood oil or a commercially available water repellent to ensure a long life.

The rough finish ensures that the table has natural edges where you can see the shape of the tree and still have remnants of the original bark. The tabletop is made from two connected planks. These two planks are made out of one piece of wood. Since the table is made from one wooden plank, there are no interruptions in the tabletop.

This table is available for 6 and 8 persons. Complete this set with the accompanying wooden benches, which are available for both 3 and 4 persons.
