A camp site in the Belgian Ardennes, an old oil drum and a pile of stones: this is how Vonken was born. It all started with a rusty barrel in which the two Belgian friends Adrien & Sebastian, the founders of Vonken, prepared their first pizzas, oven dishes and BBQ dishes for their fellow campers, unaware of the fantastic cooker they had in their hands at the time.
After numerous fermally studied prototypes, endless experimentation and cooking sessions across the country, the Vonken Original was born. Adrien & Sebastian found their way perfectly to the West Flemish metal industry, product designers with an impressive drawing talent and the Burgundian food culture of Belgium. With numerous local stakeholders, they continue to build on the Vonken outdoor ovens.
The elegant Vonken outdoor ovens create an atmosphere in which you can grill, bake pizzas, bake bread and much more on the basis of wood, charcoal or pellets. Vonken is more than a wood-burning oven: it is a barbecue, kamado, pizza oven and outdoor heater rolled into one.
Why the Vonken Mobile Wood Fired Oven?
- Vonken is more than a wood oven: it is a barbecue, kamado, pizza oven and outdoor stove all in one. Thanks to its compatible accessories, it is the most complete outdoor kitchen on the market.
- Wood, charcoal or pellets? The Vonken Woodovens make it all possible!
- Vonken is fully insulated with the most revolutionary materials. Thanks to its ingenious heat conduction, Vonken is a very economical oven, allowing you to achieve high temperatures with a minimum of coal or wood.
- Vonken is extremely compact and mobile. Thanks to the ceramic insulation, the oven is also a real lightweight.
- Vonken keeps its production in its own hands and in its own region. By building the ovens 100% in Belgium, they are assured of the right finish, the right quality and the correct treatment of suppliers.
- For every Vonken sold, a tree is planted locally, so that the gastronomic enjoyment of a wood fire goes hand in hand with responsible entrepreneurship.
- The oven is largely self-cleaning. Due to the high temperatures of the fire and the complete combustion, dirty marks are easily burned away.
