A refined and elegant red wine! The Wine Castle of Genoels-Elderen, with its 22 ha of vineyards is the largest wine domain of Belgium. Since 1991, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines are planted on the best hills of Limburg. When tasting, the robe is an intense cherry red color. The nose develops aromas of sweet red fruits such as ripe strawberries, cherries and a touch of wild strawberry. A nice velvety attack, lots of red fruit on the palate with nice acids and pleasant tannins on the finish. - Aging: 12 months on wood and 6 months in rust-free barrels. 12 months on sediment. 1 Year in a bottle. - Potential preservation: between 4 and 6 years. - To be served between 16 and 18 degrees. Its fruity taste is ideal with cheeses, red meat (lamb and beef) and big or small game (deer, wild boar, pheasant, rabbit and hare).
