Don Julio Tequila, made in the region of Jalisco, is one of the largest brands of tequila in the United States. Don Julio 1942 is crafted as a tribute to the year Don Julio González began distilling tequila at the age of 17. Don Julio 1942 is a limited-edition tequila that undergoes a second distillation in a special distillery known as Pot Still 6, which further refines the flavours.
Don Julio 1942 Tequila is passionately produced in small batches and aged for at least 2.5 years in oak barrels in the highlands of the state of Jalisco in Mexico.
Its exceptional smoothness comes from a longer maturation process and the fact that it is made from hand-selected blue agave that is grown for six to ten years under our own management. An amber gold appearance that smells of caramel and chocolate and tastes of oak, vanilla and roasted agave that lingers long. The Don Julio 1942 is drunk straight from a tulip glass. However, it also lends itself very well as an ingredient for exclusive cocktails. The bottle is a jewel, the ultimate and original gift to give.
Hints of caramel and toffee and a vanilla scent ensure that Don Julio 1942 pleases both the taste buds and the nose. The sweet aftertaste of agave completes the experience. Serve in a warmed cognac glass with high-quality white chocolate for a truly delectable cocktail.
