Every watch winder of the WOLF brand features the same patented technology. Every WOLF winder accurately counts and measures the number of rotations of the winder. Typically other brands only estimate the number of rotations and therefore your watch may not wind up properly. So this will absolutely not be a problem with WOLF's watch winders!
You cannot set the winder to a specific number within a TPD (turns per day) range as you can with some of WOLF’s other winders, instead the Rocket has a fixed 900 TPD program that includes pre-programmed pause and sleep phases. Nonetheless, these features will best ensure the winder does not cause any unnecessary stress to the automatic winding system of the watch. The watch winder rotates in both directions.
Now, of course a travel winder must take into consideration that while in transit, or stored away in a safe, it will not be able to be plugged into an electrical outlet. Impressively, the Wolf Rocket Travel Winder, after a full eight hour charge, has a battery life of 45 days. The Rocket runs on a long-lasting lithium-ion battery and has a USB port to allow for simple and effective charging.
