The wood-burning Dutchtub that blends in with its natural surroundings!

The Dutchtub Wood is the little brother of the Dutchtub Original. But as brothers often are, they are completely different. Unlike the coloured Dutchtub Original, the Dutchtub Wood has a natural look: the bathtub is covered with wooden panels, allowing it to completely blend into its surroundings. The Dutchtub Wood is one of Weltevree's iconic wood-fired hot tubs. The outdoor natural-look tub can accommodate up to four adults. The Dutchtub comes with a winter cover to heat and protect the tub faster outside use. You also receive a wok, which can be used to cook over the heating coil. Relax in the warm water, enjoy being outdoors and prepare something delicious in the wok at the same time.

The Dutchtub Wood is finished with wooden Plato panels, which have undergone thermal treatment to ensure durability. The water is heated by natural circulation. This is done by lighting a wood fire in the steel coil attached to the Dutchtub. A side table for the Dutchtub Wood can be ordered on the website.

The fire in the fire basket heats the spiral and the water in the spiral. The warm water rises and flows into the tub. This makes the cold water on the tub’s floor flow into the spiral, causing a natural circulation. The fire heats the water in the Dutchtub Wood and keeps it warm for as long as you like. To heat the Dutchtub Wood to a pleasant temperature of 38°C, you will need about a bag and a half of firewood. Heating takes approximately 2 hours, depending on the weather conditions. Maintaining the Dutchtub Wood’s temperature during use takes about one bag of firewood.

The fire of the Dutchtub is multifunctional: it can be used to prepare food as well. The included wok allows you to prepare different meals on the fire. Food and drinks can be served at the tub with the separately available Side Table for the Dutchtub Wood.
