The range of OFYR cooking units includes two options for covering the cooking plate: the OFYR Snuffer (extinguisher lid) for partial coverage and the OFYR Cover (protective lid) for full coverage. The waterproof OFYR Soft Cover Black, made of plastic, is available for use with the OFYR Snuffer. This soft cover retains the Snuffer's extinguishing function while effectively sealing the cooking plate to make it watertight. It is important to note that although the cover is waterproof, it is not completely moistureproof, so it is recommended to keep the cooking plate greasy to prevent rust. This guideline applies even when using the OFYR Soft Cover. The OFYR Soft Cover Black is included as a standard accessory with the black OFYR cooking units.
The Snuffer is constructed using black-coated steel and features a mahogany knob. It's specifically designed to provide a secure and effective means of extinguishing your OFYR after each use. The Snuffer comes equipped with six bulges strategically placed to ensure stability and prevent any shifting while extinguishing the fire.
